A festive newsletter from NAMI, exhorting the consumer mentality. You don’t even have to get dressed up and go out.
This year, as you recover from your “turkey hangover,” start your holiday shopping from the comfort of your own computer by shopping at Amazon.com.
The best part? By shopping Amazon.com NAMI will receive a portion of the proceeds generated by the sale.
Those dollars will go directly to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.
Wow! Thanks for letting us know. I have been drastically curtailing online shopping due to credit card fraud, but now I know where definitely not to shop if and when I decide to online shop again.
B’ham
I hate to always pick on NAMI, but . . .
How fortunate that I’m completely broke, and can’t afford to consume anything but the absolutely necessary (which doesn’t include the works of E. Fullofit).
I’m not surprized that they picked Amazon of all book stores. There’s probably no other company in the business that loves consumers (or should I say consumerism?) quite as much as Amazon. Just as NAMI (/TAC) loves them so much more than any other “advocacy” organization.
I’m getting too old to want or consume much.
On the whole, me too. But don’t let me loose with a credit card in a book (or music) store…
