Does it matter?

A graphic distributed on July 4, 2012, by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva shows a representation of traces of a proton-proton collision. Physicists say they have found a new sub-atomic particle in their search for the Higgs boson, the particle that is believed to explain the mystery of mass. The particle physics experiments conducted at CERN matter to schizophrenia because they are about energy fields and vibrations. The common thread that I’ve been exploring with Chris on this holistic journey is vibration and emotion, one and the same thing.

  1. I call the scientists psychopaths.
Psychopathy: a mental disorder in which an individual manifests amoral and antisocial behavior, lack of ability to love or establish meaningful personal relationships, extreme egocentricity, failure to learn from experience, etc.
How many billions or trillions of dollars was spent on this useless discovery?
While “About 25,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes, according to the United Nations.
Yet there is plenty of food in the world for everyone. The problem is that hungry people are trapped in severe poverty. They lack the money to buy enough food to nourish themselves. Being constantly malnourished, they become weaker and often sick. This makes them increasingly less able to work, which then makes them even poorer and hungrier. This downward spiral often continues until death for them and their families.

  2. I like your connection of this scientific finding with the mind and its difficulties. There is just one, unified cosmos and it all connects. We can argue the details of this unity, but not its fundamental reality. Mind and matter both manifest the energy, vibration, and stirring currents that flow through the universe. I disagree with the viewpoint that this finding is ‘useless’ or that it somehow contributes to world hunger. The cause of hunger is hoarding by the wealthy, who refuse to promote fair distribution of resources. CERN is not to blame.

You will like it, I think.

  3. Will – Sometimes I daydream about winning the Nobel Prize for my groundbreaking work linking schizophrenia to the Big Bang, haha. But, I really think I’m on to something, I just can’t explain it in technical terms. Thanks for the link to the Saks TEDTalk.
